Welcome to York, arguably Britain's most historic and magical city, the birth place of Guy Fawkes and home to such treasures as York Minster, Clifford's Tower and the City Walls. There is also plenty to do at the Jorvick Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum and York's famous racecourse. If sightseeing isn't your bag, try the boutiques along the Shambles, the Newgate Market and (of course) the city's latest edition, The Slug and Lettuce Riverside.
Our bar boasts awesome river views and the most inviting, comfortable and stunning decor which the York has to offer. We have a private room available to hire, whatever the occasion, and friendly, polite staff, happy to help at every turn. Our extensive food menu, served 10am-10pm, seven days a week, caters for all tastes, while our breakfast menu is the best way to start your day. Children are welcome until 5pm time each day and an under 8 year old menu is available. So, whether you wish to dine out, party the night away or are just looking for a quick pit-stop along the way, we are here to take care of you.
