The Slug and Lettuce, Winchester, is situated in the square, opposite the historic and beautiful cathedral, in the heart of the city. The square has a thriving cafe culture; at The Slug and Lettuce, you can sip on a cappuccino or nibble on a sharer plate of delicious food as you sit outside and watch the world go by, as you look over the cathedral green.
Inside our lovely grade II listed building, there are plenty of tables relaxation, making you feel that you've found your own secret place to unwind. There are two floors, both with large windows, so you can always see the happy goings-on of the square. Both floors have tables, to enjoy a quick lunch or leisurely dinner or find comfort on a sofa by an open fire. The upstairs bar is available for private hire Sunday-Thursday, accommodating any function, from birthdays to fashion shows and art lectures to business meetings. Interested?
