Welcome to Sevenoaks, a town where everyone knows your name (literally)! According to a report in The Times last year, our fair town is home to the happiest and most contented people in England! We are famous for our seven oak trees (now at a depleted two) and Knole House (where the deer roam free and The Beatles recorded Strawberry Fields).
With its bijou French, Italian and traditional English fayre markets, boutique shops and picturesque setting over the Weald of Kent, Sevenoaks is a bustling market town in the Kent countryside.
The Slug and Lettuce has become the main watering hole for young and old alike, opening at 10am every day for breakfasts, coffees and pastries, through the day, serving lunch and dinner until 9pm.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we have extended hours into the morning, so The Slug is the ideal place to hold a party, for any occasion.
