Mention Nottingham to most people, and their thoughts turn to Robin Hood and Friar Tuck, but now think about our fantastic Slug and Lettuce! Nottingham is one of the biggest up-and-coming cities, beginning a four-year plan to redevelop the area, costing over £1 billion. Broadmarsh Shopping Centre (just a minute away) is having a facelift, increasing not only its shopping area, but also its range of shops.
Either before or after you visit us, there is ample to do: visit Nottingham Castle or the oldest inn in England, Ye Old Jerusalem. If culture is what you are after, The Playhouse, Theatre Royal or the Royal Concert Hall hold a selection of arts events and musicals. We also have the National Ice Centre, the world-famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground and two football clubs, Nottingham Forest and Notts County. We're unique and different from the others, boasting aloud about our cosy and friendly environment. We have a large bar area upstairs, ideal for functions and parties, with no hire charge.
