Two great reasons to visit Fetter Lane:
A few hundred metres east of Fetter Lane is St Paul’s Cathedral, an historic and world famous building designed by one of England’s best known architects, Sir Christopher Wren. Completed in 1710 and standing at 518ft, it was recognised as London’s tallest building more than two centuries.
Take a walk directly south a few hundred metres from Fetter Lane and you will arrive at HMS President, a famous warship used in the first World War.

The Slug and Lettuce Fetter Lane is where you’ll find a fresh, modern and relaxed atmosphere day and night, an extensive food, wine and cocktail menu, plus a fantastic Slug team to serve you into the bargain.
We take bookings for tables and areas from Monday to Friday. Choose from three areas that can be cordoned off for parties of up to 25, 50 or 120 people. Simply place your drinks and food orders beforehand, so we can have it all ready for when your guests arrive. Given that our venue is not open to the public on Saturday or Sunday, the whole place is available for you to book for that big celebration at the weekend! We provide the venue and team free of charge, as well as arrange a menu to suit your budget and open the bar for up to 250 people - just for you. We can even apply for a late licence and organise your entertainment if required. Just ask!
