Two great reasons to visit Douglas:
Douglas is the cosmopolitan hub of the Isle of Man, surrounded by its famous undulating landscape lapped by the Irish Sea. But the island is more than just picturesque. We’re also an important centre for the UK financial sector, with many banks making the most of our offshore status.
Most famously of all we play host to thrilling motor racing including the legendary TT (Tourist Trophy) motorbike series that attracts dedicated bikers from all over the world.
Two great reasons to visit Slug in Douglas:
Our Slug and Lettuce in the centre of Douglas is on the ground floor. But in the basement, we also boast a Latin-themed bar - Fiesta Havana! Fully embracing the two styles, we’ve combined the best of both food and drink menus to make this the only international Slug and Lettuce around.
Throughout the week, we serve food and drink until late. The weekend then starts nice and early on Thursday with Fajita Night and ‘The Fix’ (our Indie Rock night), plus DJs every Friday and Saturday. Sunday night is Film Club night with retro movies in our restaurant complete with full table service, freshly popped corn and bowls brimming with tempting sweet treats.
