County Hall is one of the must see tourist destinations in London, as it has not only been one of London’s most iconic landmarks since 1922, but it is also now home to the superb London Eye and London Sealife Aquarium. As one of the most recent and lavishly refurbished Slug and Lettuce venues, we now have a fantastic outdoor space with plenty of seating for those lazy summer afternoons. So why not stop by so you can sit back, relax and watch the world go by whilst enjoying one of our great selection of cocktails? Furthermore, we have extended slightly in introducing a new downstairs dining area, which is perfect for those who wish to escape the party atmosphere and enjoy a relaxing meal or a quiet drink. Our newly launched Spring/Summer menu offers a wide variety of dishes that are sure to cater to everyone’s tastes, and what’s more, we would love to know what you think!

Slug and Lettuce is also the ideal venue for any celebration. Whether it’s a birthday party, hen night, office party or wedding reception; we cater for all. We offer a great selection of buffet menus, or alternatively you and you party can dine from our main menu – or, if you prefer, we can create something totally bespoke just for you. In addition to this we also offer a number of drinks packages; from Champagne receptions to buckets of beer! So, if you are looking to make your event exclusive, we have what it takes be it large (use of the entire bar) or small (a private area). And being that we are situated right in the heart of London, just a stone’s throw away from waterloo station and a short scenic walk to Trafalgar square, we feel that there is no better place to party.

"We just wanted to thank all staff and say how much we enjoyed our meal to celebrate my 50th birthday yesterday. You accommodated our group of 22 so well, the seating was perfect and we all appreciated the venue, the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and the service given to our group. The food was lovely and very impressive how all the different meals were served together. I especially appreciated that we weren't hurried out after our meal. We had our meal after going on The Duck Tour, we didn't ask for the discount as we felt we had been looked after so well. My husband left our tip for the service in cash as the waitress asked, (rather than adding to the bill). We would certainly recommend the Slug and Lettuce and hope to come back again."

"I recently visited the newly refurbished Slug and Lettuce at the County Hall, one Friday evening after work. I was unaware of the promotion that was taking place at the time. Basically, 200 glasses of champagne were being given out, each one had a diamante stuck to the bottom of the glass, but only one of these diamantes were a real diamond and worth £500. I happened to win the diamond and was absolutely ecstatic :-) The new refurbishment is stunning with a new stylish bar down stair and trendy toilets. I would recommend anyone to try out the Slug and Lettuce as both the food and the staff are excellent."
