1. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over (except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion).
2. No purchase necessary. To enter, go to http://www.slugandlettuce.co.uk/slug-ale-trail and complete your personal details and the competition code on the entry form and click “Submit”. All entries must be submitted by 31st April 2012 Only one entry per person.
3. The winner will be electronically drawn at random on 4th May 2012 from all valid entries and notified by phone or email by 5th May 2012.
4. The prize of £1000 will be sent as a cheque via recorded delivery to the address provided by the winner.

5. The winner must claim his/her prize by 1st June 2012. In the event the winner does not claim the prize by this date, the winner shall forfeit his/her prize and the Promoter may offer the prize to another entrant drawn electronically at random.
6. The winner’s name can be obtained by sending a stamped SAE to the Online Marketing Team, Slug and Lettuce, Porter Tun House, Capability Green, Luton, LU1 after 13th July. No other correspondence shall be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision is final.
7. The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity.
8. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so, save that the Promoter shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
10. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this promotion.
11. This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
