Welcome to Manchester Albert Square, home to two premiership football teams, the city which gave the world Oasis, Take That, The Stone Roses and The Happy Mondays. It is home of the Halle Orchestra (in its purpose-built Bridgwater Hall) and to one of the most famous streets, yes, you've guessed it, "Coronation Street".
Our Slug is located in Albert Square, opposite the town hall. Albert Square is an attraction in itself, as it hosts the European markets throughout the year, attracting visitors from both near and far. During the day, we offer a relaxed environment, where customers can enjoy a quick lunch or have a lengthy chat over coffee and cake. In the evening, we strive to create an informal, efficient service for all visitors, from party-goers to locals, both for food and drink. The Slug and Lettuce is informal, cool and relaxed. It offers good-quality fresh food, cooked to order, a wide range of drinks and an individual atmosphere, with friendly and slick service.
