Welcome to The Slug and Lettuce, Leeds - right in the heart of the city’s financial district and just a stone’s throw away from one of the best shopping experiences in the UK. Over the years we’ve become a firm favourite for many, from office workers looking for that morning caffeine fix or business lunch, to weary shoppers in need of a relaxing meal and large glass of wine.
Leeds itself is home to two very successful universities and a football club, not forgetting both Rugby League and Union teams. It’s also the birthplace of the brilliant Kaiser Chiefs and host to the annual Leeds Festival. In winter, Millennium Square hosts a popular German market that’s accompanied by an outdoor ice-skating rink. In summer, Leeds come into its own offering several beautiful parks ideal for picnics, barbeques and sunbathing.
The Slug and Lettuce’s city centre location makes us suitable for every occasion. In fact we’re just about perfect if you want a lively start or end to your night, are looking for an evening meal with great service, or simply want to settle down and relax over a quiet drink.
