A. Once you have a found a vacancy you are interested in, press the apply now button. You can apply via the vacancies list on the Apply page by downloading the application form and then either uploading this or your CV.

| A. Absolutely! In fact over 50% of our Management and head office staff have started off as bar or waiting staff. We want our people to do well and there are no limits to how far you progress. | |

| A. You need to be 18 years old or over. | |
| Q. What should I expect though the application process? | + |
A. Bar / Kitchen / waiting staff – The individual site will contact you regarding you application within 14 days.
Managers – Our Recruitment and Training Manager will contact you regarding your application with in 14 days. | |

| A. We pay our Bar, Kitchen and Waiting Team members weekly; our salaried management team are paid monthly. | |

| A. We will supply you with a t-shirt or shirt to wear. You then need to team this with black trousers and shoes. | |

| A. Slug and Lettuce is a diverse organisation so there are no set personality profiles for being a Slug and Lettuce person. However, we're a fast-moving environment so we do tend to recruit people who like to be given responsibility, who like to be given scope to try new ideas, and who can cope with being thrown in at the deep end. | |
| Q. What kind of shifts will I be doing? | + |
| A. Our bars opening times vary but typically they open during the day through to later on in the evening. Some have late night opening times. We ensure that all shifts are scheduled according to your needs and the needs of the business. | |

| A. Yes, after 6 months unless your circumstances have changed. | |
| Q. How long does it take to let me know if I have been successful? | + |
| A. We will contact you as soon as we are in a position to make a decision, time scales will be agreed at your interview. | |

| A. There are always opportunities with in our business; if you follow the personal development training this will assist your progression. On a weekly basis an internal vacancy list is sent to site. | |
| Q. What kind of training can I expect? | + |
A. Weekly Team Members - On your first day you will need to complete some basic food hygiene training along with our service, standards & health and safety training. You will then receive some on-job coaching.
Salaried General Managers - you will complete a 14 induction programme at one of our training houses before you take your site
