“My friend and I booked a table for lunch to take advantage of the £5 discount offer. We had both been out drinking the night before and were feeling a little worse for wear. When we arrived we were seated straight away and the young waiter came and took our drinks order staright away ( I wish I could remember his name because he made our afternoon! He is 19 and quite small with dyed black hair – I think his name began with ‘D’ as he signed our receipt – possibly Daryll??) Anyway our drinks arrived promptly and we ordered food (a bit more than necessary!) and thorougly enjoyed it along with our dessert. Our waiter (Daryll?)reccomended dishes to us which we will definately be returning to sample again and he even found us an umberella and gave us some very useful information on job vacancies withing the Slug and Lettuce.
