Douglas is the cosmopolitan hub of the Isle of Man, surrounded by an undulating landscape and nestled in the Irish Sea. Although this island is truly picturesque, it acts as the heart for the UK financial sector, with many banks making the most of its offshore status. In addition to this, it plays host to a range of motorised sporting races, the most famous and recognisable worldwide are the TT (Tourist Trophy) motorbike races.
Our Slug and Lettuce, in the centre of Douglas, is situated on the ground floor; in the basement, we have a Latin-themed bar - Fiesta Havana. Fully embracing the two styles, we have combined the best of both food and drink menus, to make this the only international Slug and Lettuce. Throughout the week, we serve food and drink and are open until late. For us, the weekend starts on Thursday, with Fajita Night and "The Fix" (our Indie Rock night), plus DJs every Friday and Saturday night. Sunday night is Film Club night, where we show retro movies in our restaurant, with full table service, freshly popped corn and bowls full of sweet treats.
