Since our refurbishment in August 2006, The Slug and Lettuce has become an even more popular place to visit. With comfortable (yet classy) dêcor and weekly live music acts, we have something for everyone. Situated off the main high street, The Slug and Lettuce is frequented by shoppers, theatre-goers and visitors to the town. In March, the place comes alive with the crowds of the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the busiest week of the year.
Cheltenham is also a lovely place to visit in the summer, with a variety of beautiful gardens, including a large beer garden to sit and relax with a pint of beer or a glass of Pimm's! The Slug and Lettuce has become a popular place to have lunch or enjoy an evening of good food and wine. Our menu has a wide variety of dishes and daily specials which we serve throughout the day.
Why not come to join us on a Tuesday evening? We offer acoustic live acts each week, in a chilled-out atmosphere. On Fridays, we have a funky house DJ; on a Sunday evening, we host a local act "Jukebox " an amazing fusion of beat-boxing, electric guitar and classic covers.
