In March the place really comes alive with crowds flocking to the Cheltenham Gold Cup races in what’s the busiest week of the year.
Cheltenham is a large spa town, located on the edge of the Cotswolds, the first natural spring was discovered here. Home to three theatre’s; The Bacon Theatre, The Everyman and the Playhouse.

Cheltenham is an especially lovely place in the summer, with a variety of beautiful gardens including our own beer garden where you can relax over a cool beer or cocktail. We’re also a popular place for lunch or an extended evening of great food and wine. Our main menu features a wide variety of regular dishes and daily specials which we serve throughout the day. Our comfortable (yet smart) décor and weekly live music acts means there’s something for everyone. In a Handy spot just off the main high street, The Slug and Lettuce, attracts shoppers, theatre goers and visitors to the town.
Why not come and join us on a Thursday evening? That’s when we present out Open Mic Night and take advantage of our 2-4-1 cocktail offer. On Saturdays we host the official pre party to Moo Moo Clubrooms with a live DJ, the perfect way to start your Saturday night out! Then on Sundays we welcome local act ‘Duke’ – an amazing fusion of beat boxing, electric guitar and classic covers. See you there!
