Welcome to The Slug and Lettuce, Cardiff, in the capital city of Wales, the land of song. This is just the place to be, if you enjoy great singing, fantastic hospitality and the atmosphere of a lively cosmopolitan city. We are situated in what is known as "the golden strip", just opposite the Hilton Hotel, where all the international rugby players and celebrities usually stay.
The Slug's large floor-to-ceiling windows make us a great choice for people-watching, with a chilled glass of wine or beer. We open at 10am every day for coffee and breakfast and serve food until 10pm, in the evening. If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion, whether with family and friends or work colleagues, then we can arrange for you to have an area in the bar exclusively to you free of charge.
